Black urad dhal dosa / Muzhu ulundu dosai

Ingredients:
  1. Raw or parboiled rice - 4 cups
  2. Full black urad dhal - 1 cup
  3. Fenugreek - 2 teaspoon
  4. Salt to taste
Procedure:
  • Soak all ingredients except the salt for 4 hours
  • Wash and grind it together to a very fine paste (idly batter consistency)
  • Add salt and mix well
  • Allow it to ferment for 8 hours
  • Now you can make thick dosas without oil (spongy texture)
