Ingredients:
- Tamarind - 3 tablespoons
- Red Chilli powder - 2 teaspoons
- Dhania powder (Coriander seeds) - 1 teaspoon
- Jeera powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil - 2 tablespoon
- Mustaard - 1 teaspoon
- Urad dhal - 2 teaspoon
- Curry leaves - few
- Tomato - 2 small cut
- Small brinjal - 4 cut into four
- Salt to taste, onion - 1/2 cut to 1 inch pieces
Procedure:
- Sautee onion, brinjal, tomators till onion becomes transparent
- Then add all the powders and stir for 5 minutes
- Add salt, tamarind and 2 glasses of water and simmer for 10 minutes
- Season with oil, urad dhal, mustard and curry leaves and add to gravy
- Remove from fire
